  • CETEARYL ALCOHOL: Derived from rapeseed oil, this long chain fatty alcohol smooths and moisturizes hair and scalp
  • BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE: Derived from rapeseed oil, this salt deep conditions the hair and scalp without causing buildup. Despite it's name, it is NOT a sulfate.

I love this shampoo! This is probably my 3rd bar and I will continue to get more. Great paired with the conditioner bar as well.

Love the smell!!

So first off, I bought a different shampoo then conditioner because I wanted strength, moisture and growth. But both bars smell amazing and my hair is soooo soft!! I can visibly see less damage as well. I’m really loving both bars!

Fragrant and foamy

I was excited to see that JnL released two types of shampoo/conditioner bars that don't contain castor oil (I am severely allergic to castor oil). I chose the "Strength" type arbitrarily. I plan to try the Hydrate kind after I get my next paycheck. The shampoo bar lathers up very quickly and easily, so it seems like it's going to last a very long time. Despite containing no colorants, the shampoo and conditioner bars look and feel different from each other so you should be able to tell them apart even if they're not in their boxes (I was worried about this initially). The shampoo bar is a little rougher and rounder and the conditioner bar is smooth with concave sides. After lathering it, it feels about the same as pretty much any other decent shampoo. It has a strong scent so if you have a scented soap that you want to appreciate, good luck with that. The smell of my honey almond soap gets totally drowned out.

First time with bar shampoo. Makes my hair squeaky clean. A little goes a long way. Bubbles nicely. Hubby wants to try it on his hair now. It is a large bar-so was able to cut it into two smaller bars. Very nice item.
