How to Detangle Your Hair

How to Detangle Your Hair

Knots and tangles? We deal with them all the time, upon waking up or getting our hair dry. But if you have natural or curly hair, it may be easier said than done. Your fine, long hair could get the knots, too. Even the gusts of wind can cause the hair to intertwine.

When strands of hair are shed, some may also get entangled. It easily happens to dry, damaged, and rough ones. Once these little strands wrap around each other, the knot can become bigger and detangling gets a bit complicated. But here’s how, with a little patience, you can detangle your hair safely and with less the damage.

Work in Sections

First step is splitting your hair into parts or sections. You especially need to do this when your hair is thick and curly. Two parts on top, and two at the bottom may be manageable enough, and simply work with them one part at a time.

Unknot Gently with Your Fingers

Now, use your fingers to uncoil the strands, starting at the roots, where most of the knots and tangles are. Work your way up to the tips. Some recommend working from the tips to the roots. Why not see which method would suit your hair better and would be more comfortable for you?

Next, Use the Right Comb

Smoothen your strands with the Bamboo Detangling Comb before taking the shower. This comb is made with wide teeth to detangle your hair easily while reducing frizz and static. Bamboo helps distribute natural oils and detangles without pulling. And this comb does not create that pesky static in dry months. When your hair is prone to knots and tangles, this hair comb will surely be its best buddy!

Get Your Hair Kit Ready

Alcohol, sulfates and other chemicals can leave your hair dry and make it prone to tangles. So it’s best to switch to hair products that are natural, chemical-free, and will cover your strands with lots of love and moisture! Our Handmade Shampoo Bars are infused with natural oils that deeply clean without stripping hair of its natural moisture.

The Clarifying Conditioner Rinse can help prevent dandruff, frizz, and hair fall. And leaving some Hair Serum in your hair will boost its brilliance and protect it from heat, friction, and sun damage.

It’s all you need to maintain healthy strands and keep them in their places before and after you hit the shower.

More Tips!

Always detangle before shower. Detangling wet strands is not just uncomfortable but damaging, too. Tie up your hair in a loose braid or bun when sleeping, or simply hold them in a ponytail on windy or your active days.

Now your hair’s good before you know it!
