J&L Naturals is a one-stop shop for sustainable, low-waste skincare, wellness, and lifestyle goods — with products ranging from natural face salves and shampoo bars, to bamboo toothbrushes and serums.

Do you have vegan products?

Absolutely! Most of our products have a vegan line which replaces beeswax for candelilla wax.

What is the story behind J&L Naturals?

I (Jenn) have struggled with moderate, persistent acne for 15 years which had worsened in adulthood when it should be disappearing. After visiting several different dermatologists and using various prescription topicals, antibiotics, etc. every doctor told me “There is nothing else we can do for you.” I was absolutely devastated, desperate, and left with dry, swollen skin on my face. If there was nothing else doctors or prescriptions could do, then why not try natural methods?

 

I started researching the causes of acne and logical science of natural healing. Once I had a good understanding of my acne (overactive oil glands) I started formulating and experimenting with different oils until I finally found a product that WORKS! This whole experience inspired me to want to help others in a natural, simplistic way.

Do you make donations?

Yes, we are very committed to helping the environment around the world. For every Bundle or Kit we sell, we plant a tree and for every 10 Instagram followers we remove a pound of ocean waste.

Are your products zero waste?

We have a zero waste mentality and do our best to keep everything as eco-friendly and convenient as possible. All of our shipping materials are 100% biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable. Some of our product packaging is  biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable and some are recyclable. 

We do offer incentives to allow us to recycle certain packaging to ensure it is recycled properly. You can view the incentives here.

Do you have a physical store where I can see your products?

Yes! We have a warehouse in Mooresville, North Carolina for visitors and customers where you can shop by appointment.

We also participate in several local pop up shops year round.

Do you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee?

Yes! We guarantee you are 100% satisfied with our products.

SUSTAINABILITY

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

We are pleased to say all of our products and ingredients are cruelty free and tested only on willing humans.

How do I responsibly dispose of my containers?

All of our containers, packaging, and shipping materials are either biodegradable, reusable, or recyclable.

Our custom designed kraft tubes are fully biodegradable so they can be tossed in your compost bin/pile once you've used up all of the product.

The glass bottles are reusable or recyclable and can be recycled for a store credit through our J&L Recycle Program.

What does it mean to be ‘zero-waste’?

We believe that living a sustainable lifestyle should be accessible, simple, and affordable. For us, this means doing our best to avoid single-use plastics, harmful and toxic ingredients, and disposable products. We are constantly innovating and finding new ways to be completely waste-free and help you achieve that too!

PRODUCTS

How should I store your products?

All products should be stored in a cool dry place to ensure the freshness and quality of the product.

How are your oils extracted?

Our essential oils are cold-pressed, steam distilled, CO2 Extracted and Hexane Free. Our carrier oils are cold/expeller pressed.

How are your products tested?

We are pleased to say all of our products are cruelty free and tested only on willing humans.

What is the shelf-life of your products?

The shelf-life of our products is 12 months for optimal freshness.

Do your products contain preservatives?

We do not use preservatives as our products are oil based.

Will your products clog my pores?

All of our face salves, serums, and oils are non-comedogenic. In fact our face salves help combat clogged pores as the oil based balm helps dissolve sebum (natural skin's oil) stuck in your pores.

Which products are right for my skin?

Everyone's skin is different, which is why we created products for your unique skin type. You can take our quiz to find out which regimen will work best for you here.

Help! My skin / hair is reacting to my new product. What should I do?

All our products are made to be sensitive-skin friendly, but it's still possible to have allergies towards certain ingredients. Before testing anything new, it's best to do a patch-test and read through our ingredients list carefully. You can find them on each product page. When in doubt, consult your dermatologist!

How can I order a gift card?

You can purchase gift cards online on our website! Simply visit the gift card product page and choose the amount you would like to purchase ($10, $25, $50, or $100). Please note that gift cards are digital only.

How will I receive the gift card I’ve just purchased?

You'll immediately receive the gift card via email after you check out.

Can I stock my own products at J&L Naturals?

Thank you for your interest, but we have no plans for this at the moment and only carry J&L Naturals products!

Do you have influencer or ambassador programs?

SHIPPING & RETURNS

How soon will I get my order?

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or holidays. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

How much do I pay for shipping?

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout but all orders over $35 ship within the domestic US for free.

I need my J&L Naturals right away! Do you do overnight shipping?

Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to reasons beyond our control.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

J&L Naturals ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, International, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Do you cover customs and tax fees?

J&L Naturals is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

My order arrived damaged! What should I do?

J&L Naturals is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please take some pictures of the damaged goods and file a claim here.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Do you accept returns and/or exchanges?

Do you offer pick-ups?

Yes, we offer local pick-ups for our items!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international shipping fees calculate automatically upon checkout. Additional duties and taxes may apply and are buyer's responsibility.

How can I track my order?
